A MINUTE WITH MARVIN MACLAW

Interviewee: Marvin Maclaw


Reporter: Could you tell us something about yourself ?

Marvin: My name is Marvin Maclaw, and I’m 17 years old. I had experienced quite a lifetime in Malaysia! A whole year at SMK Taman Keramat had brought a memorable exposure of the variety of cultures in Malaysia. I’m actually a calm person, but it changed during my stay where I becomes a bit extroverted.

Reporter: What is your first impression of Malaysia?

Marvin : Malaysia is hot and spicy!

Reporter : So, what is the distinction between Malaysia and your country?

Marvin : There are quite a lot of differences. But majorly, the the punctuality.

In Germany : ‘We meet at 12pm’ , and you’ll be there at 11.45am

In Malaysia : ‘We meet at 12pm’ , and you’ll be there at 12.30pm

Reporter: What are your favorite Malaysian food and drinks?

Marvin: Nasi Lemak, Nasi Goreng, Roti Canai, Milo Ais and Limau ais.

Reporter: Care to share the words that you had learnt in Malay?

Marvin: There are too many words to tell and would be difficult to be acknowledged.

Reporter: Any last words for the school students ?

Marvin: Nothing is hard if you are interested in it. Keep it going!

Reporter: Okay Marvin , thanks for agreeing to be interviewed. It had been a pleasure.

Marvin: Thank you for interviewing me Amar. The pleasure is mine! ‘Jumpa lagi!’
